I've been playing Baldurs Gate: Shadows of Amn for a few days now, Specifically for the Tsujatha romance. I honestly believe he doesn't have enough recognition as far as his quality of a mod. :3 Some people say it's cheesy but I felt like Kelsey was TOOOOOOOOO cheesy, where as Tsujatha just comes off more passionate as far as a relationship. Kesley bored me to death. "WANNA TALK ABOUT TRADING? LET ME GIVE YOU A MAKEOVER. I'm A MAN but I'm also a sissy!" Ugh. Goody two-shoes. Let me explain these pictures: Top left: My Pc, Isioviel (player character) Ranger, moon elf. Top right: Tsujatha's present to the PC after romance is established. Middle left: Tsujatha melting my heart. After asking me if I was interested in Anomen, a pompous priest in my group, I plainly told Tsujatha ABSOLUTELY NOT. When I got back to camp after a hunt, my bag was decorated in wildflowers. Middle right: Tsujatha, the 500 year old elf from another plane has never had a kiss blown at him. Don't think on it too much, love. Bottom right: Rangers love the rain. Necromancers probably don't have a preference, but anything Isi loves, Tsujatha loves too.
It's been a while since I submitted anyhting, so even if this is just a sketch page and i wanted to show my progress. byyyeee
I wouldn't say he's THAT Mary-Sue. But ShadesofNight is right about he kind of assumes your a certain way some times. But a lot of that falls under you only being able to romance him as a good-aligned npc. He's just a little cheesy but he leaves me gushing. lol
I would reccomend Tsujatha based on personal preference. I fall for the romance novel style lovey dovey shizz every time. If thats your bag and you play a good-aligned character, try it out. He's fantastic, and a lot of his diologue left me blushing in real life. I loved it. Kelsey seems more realistic, but he does a lot of Anomen bashing in his talks. It got annoying to me, but he has a lot of praise on forums.
Tsujatha is looked down upon a bit as a mod, and although I know and agree there are problems with it (my biggest one is I wish I could at least try to romance him with a neutral character as definitions of alignments vary a lot, but he is also generally thought of as a bit Mary Sueish and tends to assume the PC is a certain way) I just can't help still liking him a bit. I swear, it's the long hair and pointy ears They get me every time.
Anyway, these are some lovely drawings of him and your PC <3 The rain one is especially cute
Yeah, absolutely. your name shows up a lot when I'm looking at fan art of Bioware. Yay for fangirl-ism! And to remark on an original point you made, I agree whole heartily that he is a Mary-Sue. But then again so is Aragorn from LoTR series, and we still love him. :3
Good RPGs are very inspiring <3 True enough, there are Mary Sues everywhere (most player characters in RPGs would probably count as such), but that doesn't mean they're bad characters

Damn, need to play Baldur's Gate II again
